We discovered after coming to see the foot clinic that my daughter’s foot was broken, albeit having been x rayed by the NHS earlier that year. The in depth knowledge, professionalism and insights were second to none. To have had my daughter’s foot scanned, examined, diagnosed and prescribed within our initial appointment was amazing! I have been visiting since early this year  after struggling with pain and discomfort associated with plantar fasciatis since September 2022. Prior to attending the clinic I had bought fancy straps, insoles, socks, changed shoes several times and lots of pain killers. Eventually I went to the doctor's and did stretching for weeks with no improvement and finally steroid injections were recommended. Another round of injections didn't really work so I booked in for a foot assessment after years of issues. I was truly desperate and getting down. I'm so glad I booked in, the reality is the injections actually made things much worse longer term. I was so close to a horrific injury. Fact is my feet were desperate for some specific and specialist care. My feet are now improving, slowly under the guidance of Emma. Ultra sound has given me a better understanding of my feet and visually shown me the problem areas, Emma has been incredibly informative and I feel I know understand what's going on. My feet are now improving with rehab but this is a slow process. For anyone struggling with similar issues I would urge you to visit Doncaster foot clinic prior to getting steroid injections via your GP. I promise you there is a alternative, don't give in like I did just because you trust your doctor and are desperate to have relief. Recently I have had custom authotics made by Emma. These were recommended to me due to a slight change in my foot circumstances. The process of having these made was very impressive and quite intrcate since I have different issues in each foot. Please don't confuse or mistake these for insoles. These are another level. Two days in and I cannot believe the difference in my comfort when walking. My posture has also improved and I now walk evenly which might sound odd. The difference to how I feel is truly remarkable.and I look forward to feeling the full effect over the coming weeks. I know this is a long review but I suspect many people are suffering need to know that there is help available. Yes it's going to cost you a few quid but it is worth it. Great experience today with Georgia. I was terrified going in - I knew I'd be losing my big toenail, but Georgia reassured me the whole way through, and advised me about things to do moving forwards from a cosmetic point of view.
