On Thursday 11th December, the Doncaster Foot Clinic team had the pleasure of attending the Doncaster Business Awards at the iconic Doncaster Racecourse – a glamorous black-tie event celebrating the very best of this cities business. It was an evening filled with laughs & inspiring stories. One we will remember for a long time.
The Atmosphere Was Electric
From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was electric. Doncaster Racecourse is a fantastic venue, and it was buzzing with excitement and anticipation. Business owners, entrepreneurs, and teams from across the city gathered together, dressed to the nines, united by a shared commitment to excellence, growth, and serving the Doncaster community. It was refreshing and uplifting to step away from the day-to-day running of the clinic and be part of such a positive celebration of local success.
One of the highlights of the evening was hearing the stories behind the businesses shortlisted across all categories. From start-ups born during challenging times to long – established organisations continuing to innovate and grow, every story was a reminder of the resilience, passion, and dedication that exists within Doncaster’s business community. We were especially proud to see friends of clinic, charity Active Fusion, take home a couple of awards themselves! Listening to these journeys was not only inspiring but reaffirmed why supporting local businesses matters so much.
A Real Honour
We were incredibly honoured to be named finalists in the Micro Business of the Year category, representing Doncaster Foot Clinic among so many hardworking and innovative local businesses. While we didn’t take home the trophy on the night, simply reaching the finalist stage is an achievement we are immensely proud of – especially as we celebrate what has been a hugely successful fifth year in business, having opened our SECOND clinic at Heather Court!
Being recognised as a finalist meant a great deal to us. Doncaster Foot Clinic began with a simple aim: to provide high-quality, professional foot care in a friendly, welcoming environment. Over the past five years, that aim has grown into something far bigger than we could have imagined. We’ve expanded our services, welcomed new patients, built strong relationships with local athletes & sports teams, and continued to invest in our skills and technology.
Being invited to the Doncaster Business Awards feels like recognition of that journey. It reflects not only the excellent clinical work we do every day, but also the trust our patients place in us, the loyalty of those who return year after year, and the support we receive from the wider community. We’re making podiatry not a one off, hit & hope appointment. But something people regularly want to access – knowing the benefits.
